Dallas State Representative Files Bill That Will Prevent Repeat DWI Offenders From Getting A License
State Representative Stefani Carter filed a bill that would prevent a person who has multiple DWI convictions from being able to have a license. The bill states that upon a persons fifth DWI conviction, his or her license to operate a motor vehicle shall be revoked.
The bill, however, would still allow for people convicted of their fifth DWI to obtain an occupational license.
