Man Arrested For Intoxication Manslaughter Was Here Illegally
Gustavo Camacho, 31, has been convicted of two DWI's. Last Friday, Camacho was driving his 1993 Ford Ranger and struck a Nissan Sentra. The Sentra was then forced, due to the impact, into a GMC Yukon. The cars had slowed down on Interstate 30 due to a construction zone.
Shun Williams, 32, was in the back seat of the Nissan Sentra when Camacho collided into the car. Several other people were injured as a result of the collision. Thus, Camacho will be charged with
intoxication manslaughter and
intoxication assault. He was pronounced dead at Arlington hospital. Camacho was convicted of DWI in 2003 and 2010.
It also was recently determined that the defendant was an illegal immigrant as Immigration and Customs Enforcement have a hold on him at Dallas County Jail.
