Drunk Drivers Creating Problem In Whataburger Lines
The ole' American staple--driving through fast-food lines in the early morning after a night of partying. Every fast-food company in America has caught on to the trend--late night binging after a night of partying. This has also caught the eyes of a Corpus Christi newspaper that reported the local Whataburgers are dealing with drunk drivers holding up the drive thru lanes.
In one evening, a 40 year old woman was found crying in her car. A 17 year old man was passed out in the drivers seat of his truck, and about an hour after that, a 19 year old was passed out in his car. All three were arrested for DWI (and one for possession of marijuana).
As reported in our blog last week, we cautioned everyone to not drink and drive, not only because of the potential risks and dangers, but also because of the increased law enforcement. These cases, however, are unique. They might as well have driven to the police station and turned themselves in.
