Grandmother Charged WIth DWI
We have all had that white-knuckle experience of riding in the car with a grandparent. Never sure if we were going to make it to the destination, but always confident that something terrible was bound to happen. Of course, most of the time our grandparents were sober (we hope).
Well one grandchild did not get that luxury from his grandmother. Donna Catania was stopped around 10:30 a.m. by a Suffolk County police officer. The officer determined that Ms. Catania was impaired as a result of drugs. There were no further reports as to how the police officer made that determination.
Her grandson was in the car--he was only two-years-old. She was charged with DWI With A Child Passenger,
DWI and endangering the welfare of a child. If you have been charged with DWI, be sure that you hire a
Plano DWI lawyer to aggressively fight for you and represent you against these charges.
