Wrestler Kurt Angle DWI Charges Reduced
Wrestler Kurt Angle was facing DWI charge in Virginia. At the time, police received a call from a third-party stating that Angle's vehicle was swerving "all over the road." When the police arrived, they found that Angle's car was weaving and driving in the middle road. That is, his tires were straddling the center line.
When the police pulled him over, Angle emitted a strong odor of alcoholic beverage. He stated that he had three beers. He demonstrated the classic signs of intoxication -- bloodshot and glassy eyes. Interestingly, the trooper had him recite different parts of the alphabet (this is not commonly done in Texas).
He gave a breathalyzer test which demonstrated that he had a 0.091 test. Despite this evidence, the case was reduced to a reckless driving charge, instead of a DWI charge. This case demonstrates why you need to hire a
